1  New Feature Requests / User Requests / Headstock sadness on: June 20, 2011, 02:52:59 PM
Well. given that time that it has taken to not get the item that was shown in promo pictures and promised, the headstocks are probably not comming.  I even noticed that in the promo pictures many were deliberatly cut off at the neck where a headstock was shown in the past.

That's ok I guess.  we can't get everything we want.  but... why does not YRG give us the specifications for the attachement so we can fabricate our own and even have some made professionally.

on our nickel.

Thank you,

A sad headstockless YRG player.

Headstocks are a long time coming.

Could you at least give us the engineering data for the connection or a photo of the tab that is inserted so that we may start making some on our own?  It is more than just a cosmetic issue as many of us have some dificulty with the chopped off end as hand placement on chords is different for each of us.

thanks

I like this one a lot.

My favorite over the black one for sure.
4  New Feature Requests / User Requests / Pick guard on: November 01, 2010, 10:41:33 PM
How about a simple clear film pick guard like one uses on cell phones that is cut to the right look to use as a pick guard?  I am using one of the stickers that came with the YRG but I think a nice removable and replaceable clear plastic filmwould do the trick.  Probably could even be static cling to attach.  I am going to try a large screen protector for a touch screen laptop cut down to size.  But I bet a guard made for YRG would really sell to all owners.

PS Let's get a headstock out!
5  String Sensitivity - Adjusting / String sensitivity can be adjusted on several levels, here are some tips / Re: Bass String triggers too often on: November 01, 2010, 10:35:14 PM
Great input I will try all of that.  I originally dropped all my tensions by 1/4 turn before I even hooked it up after reading some of these pages.  I will put the bass E back to its factory setting and do the other things.  I'll let you know how it goes.

my YRG Rocks!

I have to vote for the short flaired version or the black one.  the smaller flair version seems to do the trick though and is smaller.
7  String Sensitivity - Adjusting / String sensitivity can be adjusted on several levels, here are some tips / Bass String triggers too often on: October 29, 2010, 09:06:54 PM
Hello, I just got my great MIDI guitar this week. I think it is awesome.  I played it at CES in January and swore I would get one and yes now I have it.  Great device.  Sure has some quirks but it really does rock.

I do have an issue that I am hoping I can get some help with.  My bass E string keeps triggering even at the lowest sensitivity levels when #5 or 6 string is plucked hard.  Any thoughts?

I do like the new control panel and I have played the guitar through my Roland synth with awesome results in multi-sampled sounds.  I am soooo stoked.
