What do you mean by the nr16 sample?
Are you referring to the guitar sample 16 (Metal Head) assigned to Preset 16?
i have the same problem too and it is only in that Nr 16 sample i got my YRG 2 weeks ago updatet it to 1.145 but that lag still exists; it s a mess cause just that sound is great but i cant handle it that way and its in any preset that uses the nr 16 guitar sound

Downloading firmware (c=1145 for example) does not affect the sample library (L=008) and vice versa.
These are two different digital files within the YRG.

Sample #16 is actually two different sounds mapped as a 'split' on the fretboard.
The metal sample plays on strings 6 and 5 (all frets), string 4 (to fret 13) and string 3 (to fret #8).
The muted sample plays on string 1 and 2 (all frets), string 3 (fret 9 and up) and string 4 (fret 14 and up).
There is no 'latency' so to speak from the performance of the YRG, however, the lowest muted sample on string 2 is heavily stretched downwards so the lowest frets and open string have a longer attack before the true pitch is heard.

It would be nice that users could build its own library. Could you expose information to allows us to build it? If you are going to take so long, it would be a good add to the device.

Best regards.
