The string sensitivity adjustment in the Control panel took care of my string sensitivity issues when finger picking. The lastest firmware initially took care of most the problem but the Control Panel took care of the rest.

Cool, thanks for noting that. Since you've had yours for a while, we are looking to re-write the manual over the next few weeks and even post an update soon. Any ideas? Kevin

I already posted manual suggestions off the top of my head in the topic but will keep thinking.
One thing to consider as an enhancement to the guitar is code the string sensitivity as an adjustment that can be made directly through the panel on the guitar. For example, if your are in a quiet area and want to play through your headphones but don't want people to hear you pick/strum turn sensitivity up. I can barely hear my strings at the highest level but would not want to leave it that way under normal play because it is way too sensitive. Then I leave the quiet area to play normal but currently will need to hook it up to a PC to change. That's just a wish anyway. I am sure I will find a happy medium for both but got me thinking.

The YRG does not read nor analyze a string vibration like pitch-to-note converters
The YRG has a sensor on the steel string that senses movement. The lower the sensitivity, the less pressure it takes to initiate a trigger

There are a whole bunch of controls, settings, etc in Control Panel.
I hope someone will provide some instructions on how to use it.
Ex. Do numbers want to be high or low? What do all the settings do/mean? Etc.

hope somone can help, Thanks 'Set Preset' only stores the individual preset parameters of the Current Preset:xx to memory (top left of the panel). The global parameters (bottom right of the panel) must be set individually Clicking RESET (global) or Reset All Presets (bottom left) will RESTORE all the original Factory defaults and wipe out your changes.

Hi All, I was never able to get Trackiton to work on any PC I owned the past few years. The first thing to try when any piece of music software is giving you problems is to try a different music software program. When you use the control panel to adjust your You Rock Guitar, and you save your changes, all of the YRGs multicolor buttons will flash off and then back on, letting you know your changes have been saved. It this does not happen, your changes have not been saved to the YRGs, memory. Happy You Rock Guitars Timothy Kelly MidiVox

I am a long-time Tracktion owner and I like the software a ton. And it works just fine with the YRG. Now, with the CP app open, that is another story. But that is not Tracktion's fault. Blame it on the CP programmers.
And to say Tracktion is a dinosaur, for the price, what DAW provides more functionality and is easier, more intuitive to use? .....Thought so.

if you want a non-exclusive protocol between CP and YRG, wait for publication of the sysex messaging protocols and run them without CP

Cool, I jammed up the sensitivity to 10. I'm happy with it, although it seems like a "10" setting would actually be around 15 or so.
