How about a simple clear film pick guard like one uses on cell phones that is cut to the right look to use as a pick guard?  I am using one of the stickers that came with the YRG but I think a nice removable and replaceable clear plastic filmwould do the trick.  Probably could even be static cling to attach.  I am going to try a large screen protector for a touch screen laptop cut down to size.  But I bet a guard made for YRG would really sell to all owners.

PS Let's get a headstock out!

I agree on both issues.  I would like a pick guard.  I have two other guitars and have had others and they all have and have had pick guards.  Also I know that some people like the neck to end the way it does but I am used to a headstock on guitars and it wold help to get fingering locations easier by providing a reference.

How about cutting to size one of those laptop stickers? A YRG will look neat with the right decal. I have seen those stickers in £1 shops. Just a thought.

Pickguards are supposed to be avaiable this spring.

You Rock had a bunch of cool plastic pickguards on YRGs in their booth at CES and NAMM.
