I updated my firmware to the latest. I opened the new control panel and saw you can change the tuning. In the control panel i change the tuning at the custom tuning part to be like my guitar i use for metal c,f,a#,d#,g,c . I hit save preset. it saves. I load fruity loops, and nothing changed its still in E. how do you use that tuning from the control panel. I'm using my usb to my computer by the way in FL and just starting up the guitar and it plays in FL but not the tuning i selected. Thanks in advance.

That's a good question. I too do some low metal tunings with mine but have yet to implement that tuning in a midi environment. I'll try and do some testing on that myself and report back

My first thought would be that the changed tuning would affect the internal YRG sounds, but not MIDI out of the YRG. (It's is still in "normal" mode). I don't know if the tuning affects the MIDI out by design and it's just not working in your case-my guess is it doesn't, and if not-that would be a nice update. I too will experiment. I don't often use alternate tunings on the YRG, but now I am curious. Perhaps a Mod can cime in for some insight. Smiley
