Just purchased a YRG and have been reading the forum to understand where we can share/download new presets.  Looks like there are a ton of posts about a library editor being released at some point, "when the code is read."  I can completely understand and respect wanting to get something like that right before releasing it into the wild.  But for the looks of it, lots of those responses were from months if not almost a year ago. And it looks like it was never released... not even a beta of it (at least that's what it looks like from browsing the forum).

Can you provide a status on that as well as other generally firmware updates (since the last firmware update happened 8 months ago)?  I'm really just curious about the life of this super cool new instrument I purchased. It'd be real bummer if you cease development for the YRG. I'm sure I'm not the only one here wondering about future improvements/general roadmap for the guitar.  Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi There drkrdglo ... we have a bundle at: http://www.yourockguitar.com/support/firmware-updates
This includes the firmware updater as well as the Preset Editor (or Control Panel) software. We are planning some upgrades and new features for next year. If you purchased it recently it may already have the latest software installed (1.2 as of this writing), but it is worth getting the bundle for the Preset Editor.

The new firmware update just came out and from what I've dug up it looks like some new sound patches are in the works for a not too far down the road update. The firmware update really made a difference for me.
