still having probs with notes not sounding

 i have had the yrg for a few weeks. i still get silent notes  ie notes which don't trigger when i play melodies or arpeggios
especially if i play over a certain speed , say 1/8 th notes.
actually arpeggios are slightly more reliable if i stay on the same chord although some notes can be louder than others.
i can also get phantom notes ie notes which sound when no string is plucked or fretted.
i haven't altered the string tension yet but i have turned off hammer ons coz i was getting double notes too.
how many tweaks  can i try before concluding there is a fault with the yrg?
do all users get these problems to start with and can they be completely rectified?
