Would like to see a headstock filled with a small useable amplifier, so I can play the guitar "on the loose". A small speaker just on the face of the head, and Volume, Tone controlled by knobs placed among the faked tuners. Nice Huh? And useable for fast practices on the run Wink

Novel idea, but with the ability to use headphones and availability of some small "pignose" type portable amps, it's probably not practical due to the electronics involved in rewiring the neck for audio and power, and the size of any mounted speaker would limit the quality of the sound to crappy at best, and also consider the unit would probably be "neck heavy" at that point. Not ragging on your idea, it would be cool, I personally don't like subjecting people to my practicing!!!! Grin
