Fretboard hand sensitivity tapping vs strumming

I find that when I have TAP mode enabled, the frets are very sensitive.  When I don't, I sometimes strum and get the open strings triggering even though my fingers are down.

Is that just me playing poorly or does adjusting the string sensitivity also adjust the fretboard sensitivity?

The sensitivity of the fingerboard does not change with string sensitivity when TAP is not enabled, so there should be no difference in activating the notes. If you are getting open notes you probably need a little more pressure on the fingerboard.

FYI: With TAP enabled, you do not need to strum the strings at all. Only press down on the fingerboard to trigger a note. The fingerboard is not touch sensitive, but the TAP velocity can be adjusted by holding down the TAP button and using the volume knob to change the tap velocity.
