iam using You Rock Guitar along with the free sample electric guitar library called Direct guitar 2.1 from Pettinhouse. This is only part of the library and without many of the keyswitches it offers. The free version iam using is just the mid-neck position without any articulations just alternate picking. For amplification iam using Overloud TH2 and thats about it.I cant tell you much about the library,i just loaded it and played, but the quality is certainly there.I Hope someone who has the full version to post a sample also played with YRG...

Oh right on! I'll have to check that program out. There are hundreds of great sound libraries out there but very few really geared towards guitar sounds but it's cool to see some more starting to surface. if I end up going with a full version of this I'll let you know.

Yes that would be cool.Although i dont use YRG to play....guitar but virtually everything else it would be cool to see how far someone ll go-as far as the realism goes- if he has a full functioning sound library with lots of key switches(that he practised and using flawlessly).

Yeah VST's and sound libraries just open so many doors with a YRG it's nuts!
