The instrument without the headstock looks cool, but it would be more comfortable with a headstock attached. The sharp angle on the sawed off neck can be uncomfortable in certain first position chords -- at least the way I make them!
Something simple to provide support would be great. I think the simplified Fender style would look fine.

I have to vote for the short flaired version or the black one. the smaller flair version seems to do the trick though and is smaller.

But to get back to the original question (posted back in July) when will the headstock (whatever version) be available?
Bit dissapointed thet this is an optional extra as way back when I ordered mine, all artwork and demo videos showed the YRG with a headstock so that's what I thjought I was getting.

Will they become standard equipment provided with the guitar?
Will current owners get any breaks on price?
Seems like a missing piece of equipment... The online imagery and fret chart (that came with) show the guitar with headstock.

Why have the slot at the top of the fret board if there aren't going to be any headstocks available?

So, does anyone think the headstocks will ever be available?
I'd love to know why they are taking so long to appear.

Headstocks are a long time coming.
Could you at least give us the engineering data for the connection or a photo of the tab that is inserted so that we may start making some on our own? It is more than just a cosmetic issue as many of us have some dificulty with the chopped off end as hand placement on chords is different for each of us.
thanks

The headstocks WILL eventually be available. Sorry for the delay! We received some prototypes from our manufacturer but they were not quite where we would like them yet so we are trying to implement a couple of new designs. We should have some more info to post soon .

If it helps, they should ideally be just on the end of the neck (furthest from the body).
